The problem
Building a high-quality website for a service business is a 3-4 week ordeal. You need a designer for the layout, a developer for the build, a copywriter for the content, a motion designer for the animations, and a stock library subscription for the imagery. None of them are cheap and none of them are fast.
Most small businesses spend £5,000 to £15,000 on a landing page that ends up looking like every other landing page on the internet. Same hero shot. Same three-column features section. Same stock photo of a smiling team in a glass-walled office. The template economy has flattened design quality across entire industries.
The tools to do this differently already exist. Claude Code can write production frontend code. Open-source design skills bake in best-practice principles. Generative video and image models produce bespoke assets for cents per output. The problem is nobody has stitched them together into a single workflow.
What I built
A complete residential solar landing page — hero, services, process, testimonials, CTA — built end-to-end in one Claude Code session. Production-quality frontend code, mobile responsive, with a coherent design system that does not look AI-generated.
A custom 3D hero animation of solar panels and batteries installing on a house. The kind of asset that usually means a motion designer and a two-week turnaround. Generated in 90 seconds for $0.70.
Bespoke imagery across every section. No stock photos, no licensing fees, no shots that have appeared on a thousand other websites. Each image generated to brief in under a minute.
The stack
Claude Code as the build environment, running inside Anti Gravity as the IDE. Auto-mode on so the agent runs end-to-end without me approving every step. The whole build was about 8 prompts.
The "taste" skill , installed from GitHub at the start of the session. This is the unlock. It is a free skill that loads a set of design principles — typography hierarchy, spacing systems, colour theory, motion design — directly into Claude's context. The output goes from "AI demo" to "agency build" the moment this skill is active.
Fal AI (Kling v3 Standard) for the hero animation. Text-to-video at roughly $0.70 per 5-second clip. The standard tier is materially cheaper than the pro tier and the quality holds up for web use. I ran the prompt twice to get the framing right.
Nanobanana for the supporting imagery across the rest of the page. Fast, cheap, and the output sits comfortably alongside the Kling animation without an obvious style mismatch.
How to workflow runs
Install the taste skill in Claude Code. Copy the GitHub link, open a new Claude session, and prompt: "install the taste skill and help me create a website for a [business type]." Claude pulls the skill, sets up the project structure, and starts planning the site.
Generate the hero animation in parallel. While Claude plans the site, open Fal AI, navigate to Kling v3 Standard text-to-video, and prompt the animation. For the solar build I used: "high-quality exploding-view diagram of a home showcasing solar panels and battery assets on the outside, no text, white background, expanding vertically and horizontally within frame, used as a website hero asset." Five seconds, no audio. Re-run if the first output is not right — at $0.70 a clip you can afford two or three attempts.
Generate the supporting imagery. Move to nanobanana for everything else the site needs — section illustrations, process diagrams, testimonial avatars, background textures. Brief each one to match the design language Claude is building in parallel.
Drop the assets back into Claude Code. Save the video and images into the project folder. Claude integrates them automatically. The final pass is review and refinement — usually 2-3 prompts to adjust copy, polish spacing, and tighten the mobile layout.
Outcomes
20 minutes from blank terminal to live, polished website. The longest single step is the Kling animation rendering.
Under $3 in marginal costs. The same build through an agency is £5,000+ and 3-4 weeks.
Production quality. This is the bar that matters. The output looks like an agency build, not an AI demo. The animation is bespoke. The imagery is bespoke. The code is clean. The design system holds together.
Reusable workflow. Solar was the test case. The same four-tool stack works for any service business landing page — installers, consultancies, agencies, B2B SaaS. Swap the prompts, keep the workflow.
Try it
The taste skill is at https://github.com/leonxlnx/taste-skill. Claude Code, Fal AI, and nanobanana all have free tiers to test the workflow before you commit credits.
This is Day 3 of 30. I'm building something new with Claude Code every day for the next month. Follow along.
